The role 

We are looking for you, the mastermind who can lead our team to produce the most spectacular user experience from start to finish on our award winning Casino site - Thrills: a space where instant player gratification and all that is part of an thrilling online Casino experience coexist in harmony. 

Your commercial team is in place, and as the Casino's track record is proving, the team is effective – what we need is someone who can step in and wear the leadership mantle. We are talking true leadership. Prove your worth and we will follow you.

What you'll be doing

Has more than antlers
We are looking for someone who can head up the Thrills team in sunny Marbella as the Managing Director. The successful candidate has a strong holistic view of the business and can transfer his insight into strong operational and strategic leadership. The Managing Director carries (except antlers) the responsibilities for all commercial objectives and the product strategy needed to reach them. As the Thrills MD you will also have a seat with the B2C C level management where the strategy of the B2C business as a whole is set, including market entries, acquisitions, etc...
 
The team(s)
The teams are looking for someone who can lead them with a strong sense of freedom to innovate and disrupt while still providing the senior structure. The MD will own the brand roadmap while actively coaching the team as a group and individuals. There are two teams to be lead; a commercial wing and a dedicated developer wing in our Marbella office. Both the commercial and tech teams are in place and performing really well and we’re looking to grow the teams even further right now.
 
Collaboration
No man is an island. At least not the successful ones. The closest partners in crime (outside the actual teams) to achieve the set goals will be the Central Marketing team and the VIP team. We have a healthy both supportive and challenging relationship between these teams that we hope the new MD can both thrive in as well as develop and utilize these further.
 
Facilitating greatness
To ace this position, we see that the MD has good knowledge of and experience from facilitating group processes and team collaboration in commercial teams. A deep understanding of Casino customer behavior is important as well as the know-how to surprise and delight our customers – and the team.

At GiG we believe in being generous to our people in terms of autonomy, we believe in real time gratifications for our customers and we believe in automation of our CRM operations. We have a long way to go on the automation though and expect the new MD to be in the forefront of establishing this internally.
 
Growth
As a relatively newly established casino growth is of upmost importance to us. We are convinced that brand management and the product itself are the two main drivers to generate solid growth over time.

Who you are

Experience
  • Business ownership experience and team management is required, preferably gained in an online environment.
  • Experience in site ownership and development.
  • Experience in working in a leading position within CRM, marketing and/or sales for a leading iGaming provider or other successful online business with large volumes of complex customer data (e.g. telecoms/financial services) is preferred. An understanding of web analytics is a bonus.
  • Business to consumer experience is preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills and a track record of achieving results through managing teams - both formally and informally.

 Skills and Requirements

  • Understanding of agile development processes and best practices.
  • Creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving; happy to be hands-on and not to rely on others for support or insight.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Understanding of core online and gaming dynamics.
  • Highly results oriented.
  • Excellent people skills with an ability to influence others and form strong relationships.

What we offer 

The MD - Thrills reports to the B2C CEO, is based in Marbella and will be equipped with all the necessary tools to do the job.
